  1. I like the quote and agree. But what about the cross? Has it become an idol for us? Is it an idol for us or a call to action? I believe Moses saw it coming. “Therefore watch yourselves very carefully, so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of any shape…” – Deuteronomy 4:15-16

    I am not saying that we need to run around removing crosses from our Churches, but I am saying that we need to be careful to look toward that Savior who hung on it, His grace, His way, His sacrifice for us. Those are we should be modeling for others.
